Once again, it is time for the annual Whooping Crane Festival in Port Aransas, Texas. This year the date is Thursday thru Sunday, February 25 - 28th.
The festival is dedicated to the endangered whooping cranes.
Many activities will be included, such as tours of the ARK, The University of Texas Marine Science photography workshop, field trips, a tour of the New Port Aransas Nature Preserve (at Charlies Pasture), Art Exhibits, crafts, etc.
Plantation Suites and Conference Center, located at 1909 Hwy 361, Port Aransas is the perfect place to perch while attending these festivities, we are conveniently located near all of the activities and have special rates available.
