Corpus Christi...
and only 2.5 hours south of San Antonio or 3.5
hours south of Houston.
From Corpus Christi - Take Highway 358 (SPID), towards
Padre Island. Stay in the left lane when it splits into Park Rd.
22. Continue over the JFK Causeway until you reach the stoplight
at Hwy 361. Turn left between Stripes and American Bank. Travel
on 361 for 17 miles. Plantation Suites is located on the right side of
the Highway.
From San Antonio - Take I-37 South
to Highway 181 North to Portland. Take the Ingleside/Port Aransas exit.
This will take you through Ingleside to a stop light at HEB Grocery in
Aransas Pass. Turn right at the stop light and continue on 361 until
you reach the ferry landing. Once you have passed over the ferry, turn
right at the stop light onto Cutoff road. The next stop light you reach
will connect you to Highway 361 again. Turn right at the light onto 361
and Plantation Suites is located on the left side of the Highway.
From San Antonio - Take I-37
South to Corpus Christi (135 miles), take exit
4A, Padre Island Exit onto 358, also called SPID.
Continue on 358 for 15 miles. You will pass over
the JFK Causeway, and come to a stoplight at HWY
361. Turn left between Stripes and American Bank.
Travel on 361 for 15 minutes. Plantation Suites
is located on the right side of the Highway.
From Houston - Take Highway
59 South to Victoria, take Highway 77 South, to
239 South to Tivoli. Proceed to Highway 35 South
to Aransas Pass. Follow Hwy 361 out of Aransas
Pass and take the ferry across the ship channel.
Turn right at Cut Off Road (just after getting
off the ferry) and follow to Hwy 361. Turn right
on Hwy 361 and go approximately one mile. You
will see the Port Aransas Fighting Marlin's tower
off to your right and the Plantation Suites just
across the street on your left.
